CANTABILE
CANTABILE
Project Overview : Cantabile meaning “in a singing, flowing style” inspires the concept of this project Just as cantabile connects musical notes into a smooth, expressive line, the circular design unites cultural and sporting events under one roof. Its fluid form promotes inclusivity, adaptability, and togetherness, creating not just a venue, but a harmonious hub for community connection and shared experiences.

Concept
The concept centers on creating a space defined by transparency, connection, and fluid movement. Clear sightlines and open pathways allow activities to remain visible and inviting, encouraging a sense of inclusivity and shared presence. The circular form strengthens interaction, guiding people naturally toward one another, while tiered communal areas support different types of gathering and activity. Together, these elements shape an environment that feels continuous, dynamic, and harmonious reflecting the cantabile vision of a space that moves and flows like a seamless, expressive line.

Superimposition
The design embraces the site’s natural hills through a strategy of superimposition, layering the architecture onto the existing terrain rather than reshaping it. By allowing the building to follow the land’s natural rises and slopes, the project creates seamless transitions between levels, forming stepped platforms and interconnected pathways. This approach not only minimizes disruption to the landscape but also enhances movement, visibility, and gathering opportunities turning the hill’s complexity into an asset that enriches the spatial experience.
